Restored 911 T Star Guest at the Special Exhibition
The Porsche Museum always brings history back to life again. Bud Kibbee was therefore filled with excitement when he saw the newest addition to his family shining brightly as the centrepiece of the exhibition in Zuffenhausen: the 911 T Coupé, US version, model year 1973. The Porsche from California was the star guest at the special exhibition "60 Years of Porsche Club“ from 26th May until 26th August 2012. Bud Kibbee, the 86-year old proud owner of this exceptional treasure, travelled especially to the opening together with his wife, Joanne. The couple were part of a group of invited members of the Porsche Club of America (PCA), who were given the opportunity to spend a week in Germany and experience a wonderfully varied Porsche program.
The 911 T held the fort in the Porsche Museum. For Mr. Kibbee, it was a matter of honour to make the valuable collector's item available for the Anniversary Exhibition of the Porsche Clubs. It's much more than just an exhibition piece. The 911 T, equipped with a 2.4 litre Boxer engine with 140 HP -is course ready for the road. In fact, it is raring to go!
